It is an honour and a privilege to testify how God works in His creation. We as human beings are very special in God's eyes. God created human beings, making them to be like Himself (Genesis 1:27a). We are created in the image and likeness of God, we were designed to govern the earth and keep it under control. But unfortunately mankind has turned their back on God by wanting to do things their own way as you can see from Genesis to Revelation, for the Bible says in Romans 3:10 and 23, “...There is none righteous, no, not one ... for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

I, Sean Allan, have had a full life in this world with things that destroy you, e.g. drugs, sexual immorality and the dark underground life. Life to me was either die or live, I just wanted to try everything to find happiness. There was a gap in my heart that I was trying to fill. If you see someone like a drug addict or someone who is offline, don't judge. He or she is having a hard time to find himself or herself.

In 1993 I went with a dance group tour to the Far East, Asia . William (H), my boss, Kathy and I, worked with different group shows throughout Asia . One day we had a problem in China , due to the Chinese wanting to clean us out with all we had on us. We were in prison for three days. Then we went to Hong Kong with no work and little money we had after these Chinese people cleaned us out. We were waiting for the next contract in one month's time at the Hard Rock Café. Whilst waiting, money started running out. A hungry man will do anything to live. William and I carried 3 kg of drugs on our bodies from China to Hong Kong . We had 50 grams of drugs on us which we were using as well. We thought to go to Thailand and sell this stuff as we knew that Thailand is the place where everything happens, drugs, go-go bars, etc. When we arrived, we met three foreigners where we stayed at our Guest House. They knew many places and all kinds of things one would like to do. We told them we want to get rid of this 50 gram and get back to Hong Kong . So one of them took us to two of his friends and without knowing it, he was busy giving us over into the hands of the Drug Informant Agency.

We were arrested in 1996, went through trial and received our sentence in the year 2000. We were sentenced for 15 years and they cut the sentence with five years because we accepted the case in the police station and we had 10 years for 50 grams of Narcotic Drug. That was small, normally the sentences in Thailand range from 25 years to life and death. So we could not complain. In this prison we faced all kinds of criminals which we had to live with. There were two choices we could make, either join the gangs who were living according to the world's standards or separate ourselves from them and seek God's face. So we sought God daily, year in and year out. God used us mightily, we went into the rough area and helped our fellow inmates to come out of their drug dependency and idolatry way of life. God has used us in His ministry field and William's and my own prayers were to ask God continuously to open our eyes to the people around us. “Help us to see them as God sees them, give us the wisdom and strength to take action so we may show them God's wonderful love.” We received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour into our hearts. The gap has been filled and we have found this mystery that was hidden in God's Word, the Bible.

Through all this, these nine years we led many national inmates to see the truth of who Jesus is. God blessed us so much that we were the light shining in that dark, cold prison. We, being in prison, is the way God “allowed” to happen so that He could get our attention and claim us for Himself. See, we brought ourselves to prison but when we had nowhere to turn to, God made us read His Word to show us the dangers of sin and so we are not shy to say that we are co-heirs with Christ, we long to always bless others with Christ's love.

Years back in prison we prayed and asked the Lord to release us only when He thinks we were ready and He did. We received a Royal King's Pardon from the King of Thailand. He released us with a clean record. This is our God, He loves to give His children the best of the best! God is good. April 12th, 2005, we were released, 9 years of good training from our God. He will not allow His children or creation to continue in sin. Even though He is longsuffering, His patience has a limit. If we don't correct the problem ourselves, we can be sure that He will discipline us. So let us clean up the trash in our lives today and be blessed with God's grace and mercies all the days of our lives until we reach heaven's gate!
