Amazing Grace

Eunice MayMy daughters and I moved back to Jo'burg from Cape Town in March 2004. We came here with only clothes and nothing else. We stayed with my younger sister, Mary-Ann (H) in Dawnview, Germiston for two weeks. Mary-Ann and I looked for a flat and found one in Primrose Hill, Germiston. Then we moved in with only three beds.

One Friday night I joined William & Bev Warmington's home cell. I prayed and trusted God for my needs for my home.
Matthew 7:7-8

Next morning someone knocked on my door and there was a man dressed in policeman uniform,

greeting me with his big smile. He asked me if I needed a fridge and I replied Yes & How do you know that I need it. He just smiled and gave it (a good second-hand one) to me along with a brand-new kettle. After he had left, I started wondering how he got in because we have security gates with remote-control. Then I realised that he could be an angel.

A few weeks later more furniture, etc. came. Now I have everything. God has blessed me and my children everyday. What a Friend we have in Jesus! Now I understand why they say ‘Amazing Grace' because that is what God has given me. Romans 8:32.
