Gardening at The House

Home groups were requested to bring plants from their homes and to plant on each section of the garden of The House , allotted to each home cell.

On 13 Nov. 2004, armed with plants, spades, forks, watering-can, etc, we (from the Deaf Home Cell, Ivor and Nikki, Kathleen, Wendy and her brother, David (H) from Prague, Czech, here on holiday, gave an hand too, Johan, William and Bev) came at 11 am., dug, carried rocks, decorated, planted and watered our section which was fun. Then we had boerewors rolls for lunch.

After three months with plenty of rain and sunshine ‘our' garden flourished.
