Deaf Community Get-Together at The House

On 9 October 2004 our first Deaf

Community Get-Together was held in the hall of The House - only 13 Deafies came but on 20 November 31 Deafies from different churches all over Gauteng, including Pretoria , came. It was a good time of service and fellowship. Each church was given an opportunity to lead worship with two songs each. Then William gave a message on “True Repentance” and “False Repentance”.

After that we had a good time chatting or rather signing over cups of tea / coffee and cakes, biscuits and chips.

The purpose of the Deaf Get-Together is for all the Deafies to meet once a month on 3rd Saturday of each month from 2 pm - 6 pm. to worship and fellowship together in our own language (Sign Language), either at The Fireplace Church in Germiston or The Breakthru church in Boksburg. These two venues take turns for monthly deaf community's worship and fellowship.
