Report Back
2nd Deaf Christian Conference
30 km North-East of Pretoria Friday 9th - Monday 12th April 2004

The camp outside Pretoria was a beautiful place and bushveld which we like very much. The camp was really blessed and wonderful meeting the new people whom we have not met. We are sure that the Lord has brought us all together to get to know each other. Hallelujah! Looking forward to the nexst camp to meet more new people. God is so good!
David and Estelle Mansell (D), Boksburg

Thank God for his goodness! Good for the Durban Deafies to go through N11 - too many porholes and we arrived at the Christian Camp safely before getting dark and also back home safely in God's hands. Very interesting to hear the message about "Two Vessels" - Worldly Vessel and Godly Vessel (by William Warmington (D)
Deryl Voss (D) and Charles Chitteden (D), Durban

The 2nd Deaf Conference in Pretoria was a blessing to me with the encouraging message of "HOLINESS" in so much that I shared it with other Deaf people. I also shared the message with hearing Christians and the youth in our prayer meeting. When I showed the message to them they were listening attentivelyino much that they wanted me to repeat it again and again the following week at our next prayer eeting. Thanks to Pastor Phumie Jemane for helping in interpreting for us with our Xhosa Sign Language. May God bless him.Beautiful sunset
Sylvia Jijana (HoH), Umtata, E Cap

I spent nearly 8 weeks in Gauteng . I put my car on train on 22 March and I arrived in Johannesburg and spent a few weeks with my cousin. Then I drove to the Deaf Christian conference for the long weekend - I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it very much.

In Cape Town I went to an office to get a map (direction to the camp) because I didn't get one from Johannesburg .

After the camp I stayed with deaf friends and my cousins around Gauteng until 13 May I returned to Cape Town by train with my car on it.

I went to visit the Fireplace Church and visited different home cells. I enjoyed fellowshipping with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I want to thank those for being hospitable to me.
Ted Freeman (D), Cape Town

Wonderful Camp! We really enjoyed to hear the 4 preachings (Saturday and Sunday) We also had a lovely time chatting with the brothers and sisters in Christ - also laughing a lot and enjoyed the mime. This place was lovely because it gave us peace.
