Can a hearing person, who learned at University to be an interpreter, become very good? NO , he must learn from the Deaf people also and talk with the Deaf people a lot. Then he can become an interpreter and sign well.

A theory is something with a mind likes to study something and can understand the difficult principle well. A practical is using with hand making things or can do something well.

For example, see this draw is when a man who wants to build a new house. He must first ask the architect (theory-man) to draw a plan of the house. The architect draws the plan of the house. He passes it on to the builder (practical-man). The builder builds the beautiful house.

  • If an architect wants to build a house he cannot do it. Because he is a ‘ theory-man ', not a builder.
  • If a builder wants to build a house he cannot do it.
  • Because he is a ‘ practical-man ', not an architect.
  • It is true that the theory and practical must work together as a team at all the time.
 
 
The Christian should be the same way as an architect and a builder. In the Bible, James 1:22-25 said, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself,
   

goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

 

It is not good reading the Bible only. You must also do what the Bible say to you. You cannot just read the Bible and do nothing. You will forget quickly if you only do the reading. You will obey the Bible and act on the Bible. That is faith that works and pleases God. And God will bring the power of God. The Bible is the perfect law of freedom. The Bible does not make us a slave or bondage. If you are only listening and do not doing it is like a deceiving (foolish) heart. FAITH ACTS, AND TO BELIEVE IS TO DO ! Look at your heart yourself! What will it be if you have a faith and you do not believe? Nothing will happen! So, practice today what you have read and you decide to act on the Bible by faith. Then, you will have an experience that change in your life. If you put the ‘theory' and the ‘practical' together, it will give you the best result! Amen.
