Start with Yourself

“When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country. But it, too, seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it. And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only changed myself first , then by example I would have changed my family. From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world.”

At once time the people asked Mother Theresa how to change the world, and in her simplest response is “ Go home and love your family!

I never knew you!Matthew 7:21-23
21 – “Not everyone who says to Me [Jesus], ‘Lord! Lord!' will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.”

There are many “so-called Christian” people who act or do God's work to gain a praise with from people, and to get into the affections and goodwill of the people instead of having a truly hearty love to Christ or true faith in Him . In opposition to the grace of God and the righteousness of Christ, the people's only view is to please men, amplify themselves and set up the power of human nature instead of concerning in preach Jesus' Gospel, advance His glory and promote His kingdom and interest. They failed to do the will of the Father (also means failed to do the Word of God - not from the head but from the true heart).

22“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord! Lord! Did we not prophesy in Your name, and through Your name throw out demons, and through Your name do many wonderful works?'”

The ‘power of working miracles' had no necessary connection with godliness and holiness. God may as well, if he chooses, give the power of raising the dead to a wicked man, or the skill of healing to a wicked physician. A miracle is a display “of his own power” through the medium of another – e.g. an act of healing the sick is a show of “his power” through the activity of another. God may use the activity of a man of talents, even though he may not a godliness or holiness, to carry forward His purposes. In view of that, many people may be found in the day of judgment who may have been gifted with powers of prophecy or miracle, (for example like Balaam or the magicians of Egypt); or many people with great talents, but are poor of devoutness; these people who will be shut out of God's kingdom. So beware, see in

1 Corinthians 1:26, “For you see your calling, brothers, that not many wise men according to the flesh are called, not many mighty, (or) not many noble.”

23“And then I will say to them ‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, those working lawlessness!'”

Augustine says that for Christ to say, “I never knew you,” is only another way of saying, “You never knew me.” In spite of all their professions (non-heart acting) they had been evil doers – their religion worn out itself in professions and prayers. Therefore, in “that day” they will be commanded to depart from Jesus. It is evident from this passage that many are self-deceived.

The apostle suggests to these very words in 2 Timothy 2:19, “Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal: “ The Lord knew those who are His .” And, “ Let everyone who names (calls) the name of Christ depart from iniquity! ” Anyone who claims to be Jesus' children must stop doing sins.

Build on the RockMatthew 7:24-27
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.” And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it did not fall, for it was founded on a rock. 26. And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine and does not do them shall be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the wind blew and beat on that house. And it fell, and great was its fall.

Christ is laid for a foundation for us to build upon it, and everything besides or outside Christ is just like sand only. Some people build their hopes upon worldly prosperity, wealth or security, etc, and even others build upon an outward confession or performance of religion. These things are people who act or build upon are all sand – too weak to hold a house “as our hopes of heaven”. We should rather choose and obey the Word of God by doing them from the true heart and out of love for Jesus (not from the carnal/gratified mind) is like a wise man builds on a strong and solid rock.

These above verses, ever so often read over, are always new and e very word leads us to God our Divine Author. Before concluding this paragraph, t his is what I believe that you can change the world by starting or changing with yourself is by true repent of sins and give your life to Jesus as your Saviour and Master. Invite Jesus into your heart and have this true personal relationship with Him and you may as well not only experience but also effectively work and lead thousand Deaf people to the Lord without in vain like those foolish people.
