William WarmingtonDear Readers,

To-day is ten days to the kick-off of FIFA World Cup 2010. When you are in any shopping malls, many flags representing the qualified nations adorn the tables in the middle of the corridors and the ceilings of the shops. There is so much hype going around with numerous cars with flags sticking up. No wonder the great excitement will fade after the event has ended. Thousands of fans flock back home and it is back to the routine of their lives – working, eating and sleeping as usual. As USA goalkeeper Tim Howard says, “Soccer may be my profession but serving Jesus is my passion.” (Quoted from JOY! - June 2010)

This is nothing compared with the greatest excitement the Gospel has brought to the believers. The expectation of the coming new Kingdom where the joy of all the tears being wiped out forever will be yours. The excitement of the old wasting bodies will be replaced with the glorious spiritual bodies that will never get old. Jesus inspired Paul to state that “we will be like Him when He appears …..”

The believers’ burden of guilt from sin will be forever done away. God will remove the sin as far as the east is from the west.

The testimony of a deaf South African woman now living in Wellington, New Zealand described a remarkable account of her experience of the botched operation and the power of prayer that answered the deepest desire of her heart to live. She is married to a deaf man and has three beautiful children. Read her exciting story of click here.

This year we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Deaf ministries. We give thanks to God for His faithfulness. Read the history of the deaf ministries and Bert Barritt’s email of click here.

God bless you,

William & Bev Warmington (D)
